We would like to introduce you to the team here at Conrad Anderson.  This week its the office team, next week you can meet our workshop team of installers.

Office Team


Steve Anderson  AKA Captain CompostSteve Conrad Anderson


Steve, our fearless leader, is a Mechanical Engineer by training, he is always on the lookout for new and interesting products, keeping his finger on the pulse by attending trade shows and following up unusual queries.  In his spare time Steve goes dancing with his wife Femma, last year he came second in the Sophisticated European Masters, West Coast Swing Championships!  He also loves gardening and working at 'Lottie' the allotment.

Interesting fact: Steve received 10 tonnes of coal as a sooty farewell handshake from the coal board when he took redundancy in the late '80s.


 Femma AndersonFemma Anderson - She's the Dancing Queen


Femma, our other fearless leader, specialises in making customers feel welcome and valued.  Originally from Holland, her background is secretarial and has been in business partnership with Steve since the early '90s.  Her specialism became Satellite navigation, and in 2001 sold so many navigation systems that they won a luxury Caribbean cruise, paid for by Siemens VDO.  In her spare time Femma has a passion for West Coast Swing dancing, photography and is hooked on Judge Judy!

Interesting fact: Femma's Great Grandfather was the first professional captain of Arsenal FC in 1892.


Nathan Onions  - The 'Young-ish' One

 Nathan crewed for many years on luxury yachts in exotic locations around the world.  He began working at Conrad Anderson in 2005 and has since become the Satellite TV and Internet Guru.  His role is part technical, part sales and is the driving force behind the launch of the new website.  Nathan was a competitive rugby player, playing at three county level and trained with Leicester Tigers development team.  In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking and photographing sunsets.

Interesting fact: Nathan once made a suit of armour entirely from plastic playing cards and cable ties.


Naomi OnionsNaomi Onions - AKA 'Gnomie'

Sales, PR & Social Media

After completing her degree in Contemporary Media, Naomi worked in short film. Distributing a BAFTA nominated short animation called 'His Passionate Bride', production managing another short called 'Monsters' and developing one other.  Naomi joined Conrad Anderson in 2007, she writes this blog, is in charge of social media and is the contact person for cruise control trade enquiries.  Naomi loves making fancy dress costumes and finding entertaining things to do for Nathan & Naomi's daughter Matilda.

Interesting fact: Naomi went on an expedition to Borneo aged 16 and climbed Mt Kinabalu, the highest mountain in SE Asia.




Kate Anderson - The Web Mistress will see you now... Kate Anderson

Graphics & Website

Kate trained at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design in Photography.  Since then Kate has worked in graphics and typesetting.  She has worked for Conrad Anderson since 2000 designing all of our brochures and until now our website.  Kate is actually leaving us soon to manage a local art class but we thought it unfair to leave her out.   Kate is hoping to exhibit some of her own photography work in the near future and is working on an interactive book for disabled children and their families. Kate has an adorable son called Egbert.

Interesting fact: Kate made a pair of deerskin shoes for the Bonnie Prince Charlie mannequin in the Cameron Clan museum, complete with Doc Marten tread and Kate's initials.

Nicola RahmanNicola Rahman - She loves *bows & sparkles*

Sales Administrator

Nicola trained as a Beautician after leaving school but decided she would prefer to work in an office environment.  She came to us as an apprentice in 2011 and has become a really valued member of the team.  Nicola is addicted to buying dresses and is currently planning her wedding to her fiance Andrew.  We expect there to be lots of bows and sparkles

Interesting fact: Nicola starts her Christmas countdown in July!





Jason McDermott - AKA The MusicianJason McDermott

Graphic Design and SEO

Jason is our newest recruit who has taken Kate's place in the Graphics seat.  He is a graduate in Events Marketing and Sports Development from the University of Derby.  A keen Manchester United supporter with a passion for music and sport.  Jason was the marketing supervisor for the events society at uni and writes a blog about marketing in his spare time.

Interesting fact: Last Summer Jason participated and co managed a charity dance marathon for Dance Britain, the Shrewsbury to Birmingham leg of the John O'Groats to Lands End boogie.  He also cycled 26 miles through Cardiff for the same charity.
