The CD-ROM based navigation system can easily be extended by adding other VDO Dayton Car multimedia components and makes an eye-catching addition to any car, not least due to the impressive 5.8" high-end MM 5010 TFT monitor.

The MS5400 is an extremely fast, reliable, user friendly car navigation system. It guides you to your destination with spoken instructions in one of 21 voices while your current position is continuously updated on a large multicolour display. In addition, during your journey the trip computer can also supply useful information such as average speed and distance traveled. When used in conjunction with the optional TMC Dynamic Navigation Receiver, this unique function can analyse the latest traffic bulletins to bypass roadworks and traffic congestion ensuring that you arrive relaxed and on time. The MS5400 offers more than just intelligent and accurate navigation. The modular design enables you to upgrade the system with a host of multimedia components. The MS5400 colour navigation system is compatible with cameras and TV monitors which are ideal for motorhomes and caravans.

Up to date information
You automatically receive regular C-IQ content updates on CD, free of charge. Within your chosen activation period you therefore enjoy convenient, direct access to the latest content simply by loading the most recent CD. However, the update service does not apply to contracts with an unlimited activation period.

User-friendly content activation
The fastest way to obtain the access code for new content is via the Internet, by telephone via the C-IQ Service Centre or directly from your VDO Dayton dealer i.e. Conrad Anderson.

Another option would be to choose the one off Life Time Access package, for example, activate the UK for lifetime (at a one off charge of 169 Euros) and still be able to activate any other European country, as and when required.
