1 in Europe! The international ADAC camping and caravanning guide 2004 offers
detailed and clearly laid-out information on around 5,400 key campsites across
Europe.
Every year a trained team of unbribable inspectors travels
all over Europe to assess campsites in detail. More than 200 questions are included
in the checklist used by these ADAC experts, who are campers themselves and know
what really matters. The facilities tested are subsequently marked with specific
symbols by the editorial staff and classified using the unique and unbeatably
transparent ADAC-Campsite-Profile: a maximum of 5 stars can be awarded in each
of the 5 most important performance categories for a site. Numerous selection
criteria help you find the nearest campsite or caravan park that perfectly suits
your individual needs.
More than 5,000 campsites across Europe with
detailed descriptions of e.g. shower and toilet facilities, site layout, utility
services, leisure facilities, entertainment and leisure activities. Also included
are opening hours, all relevant contact details, directions and current prices
together with the ADAC high-season comparison price.
The information
also reflects current trends, with "wellness" being the theme for the
latest edition. Easy-to-understand icons help in the search for the perfect campsite
for a relaxing break in the great outdoors. For the first time, services such
as whirlpools, steam bathss/saunas, beauty treatments and solariums are represented
