DSM stands for Digital Signal Memory, a technical extra that is incorporated in the MAGIC WATCH systems MW-650 and MWE-650. These systems are able to "memorise" objects permanently fitted to the vehicle, such as spare tyres or tow bar couplings. When checking the area behind the vehicle, they recognise these objects as belonging to the vehicle rather than obstacles worth reporting Image above shows the display unit in situ for both the MW-650-4DSM and the MWE-650-4DSM

Acoustic Warning Function

Safe reversing for motorhomes, trucks and buses. The wider the vehicle the bigger the risk of bumps and scrapes. That sounds logical, but need not necessarily be true. The two new MAGIC WATCH systems MW-650 and MWE-650, have been specifically designed for larger vehicles. Each one comes with four sensors with a range of 40 to 300 centimetres. The MW-650 model has sub-mounted sensors for especially quick and easy fitting. In the MWE-650 version, built-in sensors give a perfect cosmetic finish. Both systems feature acoustic and visual warning as well as the Digital Signal Memory.
		Zone 1: distance only. Approximately 300 cm. Zone 2: intermittant beep. Approximately 150 cm. Zone 3: fast beep. Approximately 90 cm. Zone 4: continuous tone. Approximately 40 cm.
