The core component of this system is the new RV33TCFM twin camera featuring two different camera modules and a motor-operated camera shutter. Apart from surveying the area right behind the vehicle this camera also provides long-distance vision far beyond the vehicle.

The twin function is the result of two different camera modules integrated into the camera housing. The 140° colour camera module provides optimal (close) vision when reversing. It is complemented by a 40° colour camera module for long-distance vision towards the rear. Using the two lenses the camera yields optimal image quality in either mode.

The high-luminance 7" LCD monitor delivers brilliant pictures even when exposed to sunlight. Equipment extra: the motor-operated camera shutter protects the lens when the camera is not in use. With this top-of-the-range system designed for 12/24
volt operation, you have everything in view and under control!

One Camera– Two Perspectives!
Waeco’s new RV33TCFM twin camera combines two objectives in a single housing:

the long-distance camera (40°) provides a distance viewing e.g. when travelling in line or pulling a trailer. It is also useful in combination with the outside mirror when overtaking.

The close vision camera (140°) provides an accurate view of everything happening
immediately behind your vehicle – which means maximum safety e.g. when manoeuvring.

Benefits compared to swivel-lens cameras include:
Waeco’s twin camera does without fault-prone electric motors and mechanical parts. There’s no need for a control panel either. Moreover, both special Waeco objectives provide an optimal picture for the respective application.

When moving forward the monitor (e.g. Waeco RV511S or RV70) shows the long distance view towards the rear; when reversing the system changes over to close-vision mode within fractions of a second. Thus it’s easy to keep a perfect overview in any traffic situation.
