Reversing Camera Systems from Conrad Anderson

Conrad Anderson offers an extensive range of reversing camera systems for a number of applications; whether it be rear vision, for a reversing aid or for view of a blind spot. Our range includes units suitable for motorhomes, caravans, commercial and extreme use, enabling all-round vision for overall safety and improved communication. All our camera systems can be integrated with a selection of our motorhome sat navs as well as our truck sat navs. This enables you to avoid clutter on your dashboard by using the same screen for both utilities. All of our reversing camera systems can also be custom fitted to suit your requirements, allowing a practical and convenient solution to your problem.

We only use wireless camera systems for very specific specialist cameras, such as forklift truck cameras and underground locomotive cameras. We have found that wireless cameras work very well over short distances in electrically 'quiet' environments i.e. forklifts; however do not work so well on electrically 'noisy' environments such as motorhomes, cars and trucks. When wireless cameras are used on these vehicles they suffer from radio interference, which can often make the picture substandard. Wireless cameras also require power at the monitor and at the camera, which means that cables have to be run to power the transmitter at the camera. This makes the idea of wanting wireless cameras for your motorhome etc., seem less viable, as it seems a bit pointless having a wireless camera system in the first place if cables need to be run anyway.
