Shell Solar,
headquartered in The Hague and employing around 1,300 people, provides an integrated
solution; from manufacturing silicon components, solar cells and modules to selling
and designing complete systems for grid connected or remote power applications.
Shell
Solar has manufacturing facilities in the United States, Germany, and Portugal
with a total yearly capacity of some 80 megawatts in solar cells. Our research
and development department contributes to the improvement of our products by working
closely together with the different manufacturing sites and internationally famous
research institutes. Shell
Solar products are marketed in 75 countries through a global network of professional
distributors and sales partners. Sales offices are located in the US, Germany,
Singapore, India, Sri Lanka, South Africa and the Philippines. The
technology of Shell Solar
Shell Solar is involved in photovoltaics, the
technology that converts light directly into electricity. Shell Solar manufactures
and sells Shell PowerMax® solar panels, an excellent performing range of panels
with high energy yields. The Shell PowerMax range consists of mono- and multi
crystalline cell technologies and the leading Shell thin film technology, CIS
(Copper Indium Diselinide).

solar cells and modules with a capacity of over 425 megawatts.

segments: - Grid
Connected Solar Systems - from small home systems to multi megawatt applications.
Shell Solar is supported by a network of professional distributors who take care
of installation, maintenance and financing in areas where an electricity network
is present. Our highly experienced project teams take care of turn-key delivery
of commercial projects or even large solar power plants.
- Off
grid solar systems - providing solar solutions for industrial PV applications
like telecoms and remote residential systems. This includes, training, maintenance
and all other after sales activities.
