3000 - Communication Interface Module
The CI 3000(1)
communication interface module allows you to connect different handsfree kits
and mobile phones to your VDO Dayton navigation system(2)
to conveniently call up mobile phone functions on the monitor. The CI 3000 is
currently the only device of its kind which is compatible with many types of mobile
phones, as well as with current handsfree kits. You can conveniently download
the necessary software via GSM.
As a C-IQ customer, with the CI 3000
you can also have the activation code for your C-IQ services sent straight to
your navigation monitor via SMS. Then all you need to do is confirm the code at
the touch of a button, giving you instant access the ordered content.
CIX 3000 Blue - Maximum compatibility
Expand the CI 3000 by adding the optional CIX 3000 Blue1 module and thanks
to Bluetooth® wireless technology you can avoid the hassle of installing a
handsfree kit. Experience cable-free in-car communication - the CIX 3000 Blue
brings the Bluetooth® wireless technology standard to your car. It no longer
matters where in the vehicle your mobile phone is: you simply take incoming calls
via the remote control that comes with the CIX 3000 Blue and enjoy maximum acoustic
quality due to digital signal processing (DSP) with echo and noise reduction.
Use the CIX 3000 Blue as a stand-alone handsfree kit or connect it to your VDO
Dayton CI 3000. This cable-free connection also supports the existing voice recognition
functionality that comes with your mobile phone.
