3000 - Communication Interface Module
The CI 3000(1)
communication interface module allows you to connect different handsfree kits
and mobile phones to your VDO Dayton navigation system(2)
to conveniently call up mobile phone functions on the monitor. The CI 3000 is
currently the only device of its kind which is compatible with many types of mobile
phones, as well as with current handsfree kits. You can conveniently download
the necessary software via GSM.
As a C-IQ customer, with the CI 3000
you can also have the activation code for your C-IQ services sent straight to
your navigation monitor via SMS. Then all you need to do is confirm the code at
the touch of a button, giving you instant access the ordered content. Also

Software
Download Service
The software for the CI 3000 supports many current types
of mobile phone(3), but if your phone is not one of the
models listed, that isn't a problem. Register your CI 3000 and simply download
the required software.
