Oyster
This system delivers choice and ease in abundance; the twin LNB gives you the
choice of either running two receivers in different locations in your vehicle
or a recording device so as not to miss any important programs. The Oyster Twin
Digital includes an integrated universal satellite decoder, preset with 46 different
satellites and features the OBSC function, which allows automatic satellite change
when the channel is switched. This makes the system ideal if you want to watch

| A
masterpiece of technology, the Oyster’s satellite dish can be permanently fitted
on the roof of any leisure vehicle. Oyster’s microprocessors ensure that the picture
and stereo sound remain fully tuned and crystal clear. When the system is switched
off, the Oyster dish closes and stows itself out of harms way. All control electronics
are incorporated in the Oyster receiver. | |
Available as either 65 or 85 cm unit, this is a true DIGITAL system with "Free
to View" Digital Satellite receiver at its heart. Even without a "Digibox"
this systems offers thousands of channels, both visual and radio from a wide range
of European satellites. Together with fully integrated digital positioner, the
entire operation of this system is carried out through the remote control communicating
with a remote eye that can be mounted discretely within the vehicle. A DVB-Compatible
digital receiver (Digibox) can be connected allowing access to a full range of
English channels including BBC, ITV etc. In
order to improve the Oyster even further, all UK spec systems are now fitted with
Twin LNB Technology. Which means you receive two signals simultaneously, extra
channels less hassle!
| Optimum
range thanks to SKEW option: For optimum reception in peripheral areas
of the western and eastern vacation regions of Europe, a rotation of the LNB into
the suitable direction is helpful. Thus the polarization loss angle resulting
from the Earths curvature can be compensated. With the SKEW configuration,
you enjoy a comfortable range optimization with fully automatic SKEW setting (LNB
adjustment). To provide a comfortable solution, all Oyster Digital versions can
now be equipped with a fully automatic SKEW adjustment (LNB readjustment) as an
option. |

| The
Oyster Twin and Quad The Oyster Twin’s 85cm satellite dish can be permanently
fitted on the roof of any leisure vehicle. When the system is switched-on using
the infra-red remote control, the Oyster’s dish will erect itself, then automatically
go back to its last reception position. If the dish fails to receive a signal
in that position, it immediately starts an automatic signal seek. Turning the
system off or starting the engine will lower the dish to the parked position.
The
hub of the system is a one-box control system operated by remote control and incorporating
a ‘Free to Air’ Digital receiver. As its name suggests, this system is equipped
with a digital Twin L.N.B. so that two receivers can be connected at the same
time without conflict or having to operate an external L.N.B. switch. One output
is connected to the Oyster’s own digital receiver whilst the other can be connected
to a DigiBox so that encrypted programmes (which require a viewing card) can be
watched. This is a system for people who desire complete control over the whole
process of locating the satellite systems. |
