Comprising of Standard and Long cable Standard models. The Eagle range is an extremely good value for money simple cruise control. It is a sophisticated hand throttle with a manual adjustment facility which can be switched off by either pressing the brake pedal or by the red button on the module casing. Cruising speed can be varied by means of a combined adjustment and ON/OFF switch. Any brake circuit fault to earth will fail to safety by switching off the cruise control. There are two models, the Eagle Standard and long cable version. The Eagle will fit onto most cars and 'van size' vehicles. Switching on the Cruise Control Accelerate to your chosen speed. When you have reached your chosen speed turn the handle of the Cruise Control to 'on'. Overtaking with Cruise Control switched on Accelerate normally. When overtaking manoeuvre is completed, release the accelerator and the 'Economic' Cruise Control automatically brings you back to your chosen speed. Altering your fixed speed For instance because of a strong head wind or going uphill, you may want to hold your chosen speed, just turn the handle clockwise, to 'increase'. The opposite, a tail wind or going downhill, turn the handle anti clockwise to 'decrease'. Switching off the Cruise Control Automatically by braking. Not automatically by pressing the red button on the Cruise Control. Attention!! Your braking light will not flash. Warning!! When your brake light switch is faulty the cruise control will NOT switch off by braking.
