However, this could be a thing of the past with the launch of a new truck and large vehicle Navigation system. Conrad Anderson, the Birmingham based supplier and installer of vehicle electronics are now stocking the new portable navigation system for trucks and larger vehicles from VDO Dayton. There will also be an installed system due to be launched in Autumn 2008.The unit can be customised with the vehicle dimensions and programmed to avoid height, width and weight restrictions and is supplied with street level mapping for Europe. The units are available with a 4.3in or 5.6in screen and include a built-in freeview TV tuner.
