The charging current distributor manages the air conditioner’s power supply and prevents excessive discharging of the leisure batteries
All four DC kits include a charging current distributor with low-voltage protection.Supplied as a standard accessory, the charging current distributor enables optimal energy efficiency while driving. With its assistance, the air conditioner can be perfectly integrated into the vehicle’s energymanagement system. The unit regulates the current distribution between the starter battery, supply battery and the generator. At the same time, it prevents overload of batteries or onboard electronics. If the generator's capacity is insufficient and the energy required is drawn from the batteries, the charging current distributor turns the air conditioner off for a short period of time to prevent excessive discharging of the starter battery. Once the batteries have been recharged, the system is automatically turned on again.
